Shira Telushkin is a writer and editor living in Brooklyn, where she focuses on religion, fashion, culture, and all the ways humans seek beauty and meaning in life. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Atlantic, National Geographic, and many other publications. She is a regular contributor to The Forward and Tablet Magazine, and a graduate of Yale University and the Harvard Divinity School, where she studied early Christian monasticism in Egypt.
