Selina MacLaren
Selina MacLaren is an attorney at the Los Angeles office of Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, focusing on the First Amendment and media litigation. She represents content-creators in the news, music, and entertainment worlds. Her practice covers a wide range of speech- and press-related issues, including defamation, intellectual property, and subpoena defense.
Outside of private practice, she speaks and writes publicly on First Amendment trends and the rich area of law where internet and speech intersect. Before joining DWT, she was a fellow at the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press, a nonprofit in D.C., where she focused on how national security issues affect journalists.
