Sara Rzeszutek

Sara Rzeszutek is Associate Professor of History at St. Francis College in Brooklyn, where she also directs the Honors Program and the Women’s and Gender Studies program. She is the author of James and Esther Cooper Jackson: Love and Courage in the Black Freedom Movement (University Press of Kentucky, 2015), as well as several articles on the Jacksons. She has been a member of a number of pedagogical initiatives, including the Students and Faculty in the Archives initiative with Brooklyn Historical Society, and the American Historical Association’s Tuning and History Gateways projects.
