Hannah Rachel Cole

Hannah Rachel Cole is a postdoctoral associate at Yale Environmental Humanities and the Yale Center for the Study of Race, Indigeneity, and Transnational Migration. Her research examines literary representations of plant life in the Hispanophone, Anglophone, and Francophone Caribbean. She is currently at work on a book project entitled A Thorny Way of Thinking: Botanical Afterlives of Caribbean Plantation Slavery.
