Maria Rovito

Dr. Maria Rovito (she/her) is a scholar, educator, and public feminist working at the intersections of disability studies, reproductive justice, and medical humanities. Her research examines the intersections between feminist disability studies, gynecological diseases in illness narratives, and the history of medicine. She is committed to building accessible, inclusive feminist classrooms and communities across campus and disciplines between STEM, medicine, and the humanities.
