Ruth Lopez is a cultural journalist based in Chicago. She is the co-author of Elevated: The Art and Architecture of the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA, 2018) and the recipient of the 2019 Arthur and Lila Weinberg Fellowship for Independent Researchers at the Newberry Library in Chicago.
