Natalia Przelomska

I am a researcher and educator with a passion for studying past human interactions with ecosystems, with overlapping goals of preserving traditional ecological knowledge, protecting biodiversity and understanding the natural world.

I earned my PhD in the field of plant domestication in the Archaeology Department at the University of Cambridge.

Subsequently, I was awarded a Smithsonian Postdoctoral Fellowship to work at the National Museum of Natural History and the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute. During this time, I worked with Dr. Logan Kistler on multiple projects involving archaeogenomics of crop species and endangered animal species.
