Jill Spivey Caddell
Jill Spivey Caddell researches and writes about 19th-century American literature and history, with a particular focus on the afterlives of the Civil War. She is also co-director of Commemorative Cultures (civilwarmonuments.org), a digital project that maps and interprets Civil War monuments funded by St. Andrews University.
