Jesse McLaughlin

Jesse McLaughlin is a PhD student in Environmental Psychology at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. McLaughlin’s research engages broadly with the political ecology of wildlife conservation, specifically the conservation of migratory shorebirds. He’s interested in the socio-ecological life of public space, as well as transboundary biodiversity governance and knowledge transfer. McLaughlin is currently a research associate with the Public Space Research Group and has experience in research and policy at organizations such as the Environmental Defense Fund and NYC Bird Alliance (formerly NYC Audubon).
