Jane Palmer

Jane Palmer is an English freelance journalist based in Colorado. Her early years were spent in Nairobi and, after returning to England, she completed her degree and a PhD in computational biology at the University of Sheffield. In her relatively recent foray into journalism she has written stories for outlets including BBC Earth, BBC Future, New Scientist, Proto and Science. Her trip to El Salvador has inspired her to cover more stories about public health in Central and South America in the near future.
