Jamie Courville

Jamie Courville has spent the last fifteen years working with some aspect of storytelling. She has worn many hats in the film business: she’s done continuity for the Muppets, edited video art and documentaries, and founded a video collective. These days, she likes to record the voices and faces of people who are seldom heard. Jamie created the acclaimed Squirrels Stories series of audio documentaries, which features short portraits of individuals affected by cancer and Alzheimer’s disease, and is currently working on a documentary about changes happening to Gowanus, Brooklyn called Gowanus Current.
