Desalegn Chala holds a PhD in ecological modelling from the University of Oslo and has over a decade of expertise in the field. Currently a multidisciplinary researcher at the University of Oslo, his experience spans GIS, remote sensing, ecological niche modelling, molecular genetics, and biodiversity digital twins. His research interests include food security, biogeography, conservation biology, and related disciplines.
