David Mura
David Mura is an award-winning novelist, essayist, playwright, and critic based in Minnesota. His most recent collection of essays, from the University of Minnestoa Press, is The Stories Whiteness Tells Itself: Racial Myth and Our American Narratives. Also a poet, Mura has published four collections including Angels for the Burning, The Last Incantations, The Colors of Desire, and After We Lost Our Way. Mura is the recipient of a 2024 Guggenheim Fellowship.
